Although the Faculty of Technological and Developmental Studies (FTDS) is one of the newly established colleges of the University of Khartoum, its history goes back to more than forty years. In addition, FTDS also offers distance and continuous learning programmes.
To fulfil its mission FTDS coordinates a number of programmes in collaboration with the relevant faculties and schools of the University of Khartoum.
FTDS is part of the Central Campus of the University of Khartoum, but its administration is currently moved to Khartoum North within the campus of University Press.
